Whether you are a new Christian or have been following Christ for a while, it is so important for us to continually be growing in the knowledge of God’s Word and in spiritual maturity. Discipleship is the church’s way to help you do just that! With our Discipleship Classes and 1 on 1 program, we want to give you the tools to grow in your journey with Jesus.
1 on 1 Discipleship Program
One of the best tools we have here at Immanuel for helping you grow in your journey with Christ is our 1 on 1 Discipleship program. Part 1 of the program is about connecting you with another Christian here and walking through the basics of what it means to follow Christ. You meet 1 on 1 with your Discipleship partner for 6 weeks, diving deep into God’s word, praying for each other, encouraging one another, and keeping each other on track.
Discipleship Classes
Our weekly Discipleship Classes are a great way to grow in God’s Word alongside others. Throughout the year, Immanuel offers a variety of classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays that dive into different topics and help you take your next step.

“Cherish” – Discipleship Class for Married Couples

As you learn to cherish one another, you’ll begin to see your marriage with fresh perspective and grow closer relationally, emotionally, and spiritually.

About Scott
Hi! I’m Scott Stevenson, and I’ve been happily married for the past thirty years to my lovely wife, Maria. I’m better known as Maria Stevenson’s husband at Immanuel. We have four boys, Marco, Blake, and the twins Michael and Matthew. The Lord called me out of Law Enforcement to ministry in 2007, and I have been serving ever since. If you haven’t figured it out, you will learn soon that I love Discipleship! Discipleship gave me my focus in my Christian walk. I want everyone to have this tremendous advantage, especially at the beginning of their walk with the Lord. I hope to continue to share my love of the Lord’s command for many years to come.
