Immanuel Day School

HELPING YOU RAISE YOUR KIDS TO LOVE GOD AND BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE

Immanuel Baptist Day School is committed to equipping and empowering the next generation.

Our program is the perfect blend of creative play and structured school readiness skills to ensure that every child is successful!

All instruction and care are centered on Christ as the cornerstone of our learning foundation. Every lesson plan, every manipulative set, every circle time, and every art project is designed to honor and reflect the Creator God who made us, and we want our youngest students to understand that God’s love is the foundation upon which they can always stand.

Infants

(6 weeks – 24 months)

Our teachers and staff provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment while monitoring and encouraging appropriate development of each baby; emotionally, physically, cognitively, and verbally. We offer many experiences to foster their development and learning and strive to help them achieve their fullest potential. We know that being separated from your baby can be difficult for both of you. It is our privilege to partner with you and do anything we can do to assist you in making this a joyful experience.

Preschool

2 – 3 Years Old

Children are natural seekers, so we stive to provide them with an opportunity to explore and grow developmentally through hands-on experiences using the Wee Learn Curriculum.  They are encouraged to step into academic learning through structured play that introduces some basics, but they also are given opportunities to finger paint, play house, and sing songs. Each child is encouraged to progress at their own rate toward self-discipline and the ability to make wise choices helping them to grow and develop socially and emotionally

Transitional Kindergarten

4 -5 Years Old

(going into Kindergarten next school year)

Our Transitional Kindergarten Curriculum is tailored to challenge students to gain a deeper understanding of problem-solving, phonetic awareness, and number sense. Through these experiences, our students begin the exciting process of building a foundation for learning that will stay with them for a lifetime. As we place a strong emphasis on language, listening, and communication skills, our students strengthen existing skills and abilities while learning new ones Transitional Kindergarten students receive academic instruction using the ABEKA curriculum, along with the Wee Learn Curriculum in a nurturing environment attuned to the individual academic, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the children in the class.

  • Transitional Kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn in an enriching and academically challenging environment that nurtures their growth. Research shows that children who attend kindergarten readiness programs like Transitional Kindergarten are more likely to do well in school and attend college

School Age Camp Program

We provide camp programs in a Christian environment for school aged kids during Winter, Spring, and Summer break.

We believe children should be confident about their growing skills and eager to explore their capabilities. Your child will be involved with appropriate activities based on their individual gifts. Through exploration and play, our school-age children learn how to work together to formulate new ideas.

Along with developing the social competence and ability to be lifelong learners, our goal is to help students understand who Jesus is, start a relationship with him, and learn their role in the world around them.
