Ministry Opportunities
The only difference between those who serve and those who don’t - is obedience.
Homebound - taking the Lord’s Supper to our seniors who are Homebound, Wednesday mornings as scheduled. Call Ron Norman at 864-6255 or email him at ronjanet_1@juno.com if you would like to join a team – husband and wife teams are needed.
Joyful Singers - Our Senior Adult Choir practices every Monday from September through May at 11:00 a.m. in the Choir Room. We take bus trips to places locally to sing in the spring and at Christmastime, plus performances in our sancuary. It's a special time together for singing and fellowship designed for ages 55 plus. Ongoing Activities
Game Day - Sack lunch & table games every 2nd Monday of the month from 12 noon to 2p.m. in rooms W3 & W4. Call Flo Howard at 425-0750 for more information.
Widows/Single Ladies Breakfast - meets the third Wednesday of each month at Denny's Restaurant on Alabama in Redlands at 8:30 a.m. for friendship, breakfast and prayer. Call Millie Zook at 307-0440.
Senior Luncheon - Every 3rd Thursday of each month in our Fellowship Hall (take the "C" building elevator upstairs), we come together to fellowship, enjoy a full-course hot meal; listen to special music; participate in our "Ask the Pastor" session (featuring our Senior Pastor, Rob Zinn, when he is available); listen to a guest speaker; and get spiritually uplifted with Words of Wisdom by our Minister of Senior Adults, Al LeBrun. Our luncheons begin at 12 noon and the cost is $6.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door. (Twice a year in May and August we have a brunch that begins at 10:00 a.m.)

Sept. 9 - San Juan Capistrano Mission Tour plus lunch at the El Adobe restaruant (3 meal choices). 9:00 a.m. to approx. 4:00 p.m. $31.00
September 16 - Noon Luncheon: Baked chicken special guest speaker will be Rev. Doug Metzger - only California engagement
October 7 - Gene Autrey Museum plus lunch at the Golden Spur restaurant. (Lunch NOT included in your $6.00 admission price - restaurants near by.) 9:30 a.m. to approx. 4:30 p.m.
October 21 - Noon Luncheon: Roast beef entree plus instrumentalist Eric Kelley and our own "Ask the Pastor"
November 18 - Noon Luncheon: Baked ham & yams. Guest speaker will be Pastor Tracy Johnson with a condensed version of "The History of the Southern Baptist Church"
December 4 - Bus trip: Candlelight Pavilion Theater Christmas Memories. $58.00 includes meal. 10:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
December 10 - Christmas Banquet: Choice of beef tri-tip or chicken cordon bleu; plus music & entertainment by Diane Chavarria

Luncheons include salad, entree, dessert and beverage for $6.00 ($7.00 at the door.) Both luncheons/brunches and banquets are held in the Immanuel Fellowship Hall - Building C, take the elevator upstairs to the Fellowship Hall. Come early to meet old friends - and make new ones!

Additional luncheon/banquet tickets on sale in our Church Office during the week and our Welcome Center on Sundays.
