What better way is there to celebrate our great country than with family, friends, fun, and fireworks? For the third time, Immanuel Baptist Church will join with other local sponsors to host a fantastic July 4th celebration for the community of Highland! Spend the evening with us and connect with local business, get some great food, check out the cars at the classic car show, watch your kids enjoy the multiple fun zones, enjoy the live entertainment, or just relax on the ball fields while you wait for the fireworks show. And the show will be the highlight of the evening – 25 minutes of amazing fireworks backed by inspiring music!
Parking opens at 5:00 pm, and the fields will open at 5:30pm. Food vendors will begin selling at 5:00 pm, as well.
Where will the celebration take place?

How early can we line up to enter the gates?
Entrance lines will begin forming at 5:00 PM by either entrance to the ball fields, and the fields will open at 5:30 PM.
Is there In/Out access on the Baseball Field?
Yes, you will be able to come and go during the celebration. We ask that everyone remain seated during the fireworks show, however. Please do not leave personal belongings unattended, and please note that someone must remain with your belongings to save your viewing spot on the fields.
What type of entertainment will be there?
- A classic car show will take place, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.
- Enjoy three separate Fun Zones (toddlers, kids, and teens) featuring fun activities, plus a covered seating area for families to use before the show.
- Interact with local businesses who have sponsored the event by checking out their promotional booths.
Where will the children’s play area be located?
The Fun Zones will be located on the Southeast end of Zinn Field. View the Map.
How much are tickets?
Admission is free!
Where are the restrooms?
Portable restrooms will be located on the North end of the ball fields. View the Map.
Is there a Handicapped Area?
There will not be a separate handicapped area. The church campus is handicapped accessible.
Where can I park?
You may park for free in designated parking areas on the church campus. On campus parking is limited. View the Map.
Is there preferred parking?
Preferred parking is available for event sponsors. For more information about sponsoring the event, please click here.
Is there parking for RVs and Tailgating?
Due to limited parking, RVs and Tailgating are not permitted.
What if parking on campus is full?
Additional parking areas not affiliated with the Fireworks Celebration are located near Immanuel Baptist Church. Please check with the proper parties before parking there. Off-campus parking is not the responsibility of Immanuel Baptist Church.
How long is the Show?
The fireworks show will last 25 minutes.
What time will the fireworks start?
The fireworks show will begin around 9pm and conclude around 9:30pm
Will you have medical staff in case of emergency?
Yes – emergency personnel will be on site.
Can I bring a cooler into the event?
Yes. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the event, however, and all coolers will be subject to search before entry to the ball fields.
Will my personal items be searched?
Yes. All coolers, backpacks, bags, and personal items will be subject to search before entering the ball fields.
Will there be food and drinks available for purchase?
Yes. Multiple vendors will be on-site, and you will be able to purchase a wide variety of meals and snacks.
Will I be allowed to grill or cook my own food at the event location?
No personal cooking of any kind will be allowed at the event. No grills or other cooking devices are allowed, though you may bring food stored in a cooler. All coolers and personal items are subject to search.
Can I bring my umbrella to shade me from the sun?
Umbrellas and pop-up tents will be permitted as space allows unless they obstruct the view of other guests. All umbrellas and pop-ups must be taken down and put away by 8:30 pm in preparation for the fireworks show.
Is there seating available?
Lawn seating is available to everyone. Small seat cushions, collapsible chairs, and blankets are allowed. Plastic or vinyl tarps are not allowed. Chairs that may obstruct the view of other guests must be collapsed by 8pm in preparation for the fireworks show.
Can we reserve spaces on the ball fields?
Spaces can be reserved after entry, but inserting stakes, poles or any other objects into the ground, or use of ropes, cords, tape, etc. is prohibited. Additionally, a member of your party must remain at your space at all times.
Can I bring my pet?
Only service animals are permitted on the event site.
Can I bring my bag or backpack?
Small bags and backpacks are permitted. All personal items are subject to search upon entry to the ball fields.
Is smoking allowed? Are there smoking sections?
Smoking is not allowed, and no smoking sections will be provided on campus grounds.
Is alcohol allowed? Is it available for purchase, or can I bring my own?
Alcohol is not permitted at the event and will not be for sale.
Can I take pictures or video?
Yes. Please be respectful of those around you.
What personal items will I be prohibited from bringing?
Guests may not enter the venue with alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, fireworks, laser pointers, weapons or dangerous devices of any type. No unauthorized personal transport devices including bicycles, skateboards, Segways, etc. are permitted on the ball fields. No animals are allowed except for service animals. Pop-up tents, umbrellas, and chairs are permitted as space allows unless they obstructs the view of other guests, and they need to be taken down by 8:30 pm.
Can I bring my own products to sell or promote?
Unauthorized vending and solicitation is prohibited throughout the event site.
