Let’s face it: adulthood is challenging.
Whether you are a young adult or a median adult, married, single, or newly single, you are a work in progress. You need a place to belong, a place where you can be yourself, grow into adulthood, and learn to embrace your faith. Sometimes you need guidance in starting or raising your family. Possibly you need assurance that you are making the right choices in life. Maybe you just need to be reminded of God’s love for you. The Adult Ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church exists to meet your needs. We want to help you find balance, develop relationships, and experience the abundant life in Christ.
Our primary ways of engaging adults are our Adult Bible Study Communities. Adult Bible Study Communities are small groups of people focused on reaching the unchurched, teaching Scripture, and ministering to needs. Since we are a large church, the best way for you to get “plugged in” is to find an where you can make friends, be discipled, and make a difference in the lives of others.
To find out specific information about our Bible Study Communities, look at the links to the right, and click on the one that best describes you. We offer departments at 8:00 AM, 9:15 AM and 10:50 AM on Sunday mornings. Feel free to check out several different departments until you find the one that’s the right fit for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jason Barker at the Church Office, and they will be happy to assist you in finding a place to belong at Immanuel!
