Our video streaming is designed with maximum compatibility in mind. In order to be able to view our main online streaming page, you must be running a modern internet browser, with a recent version of Adobe Flash Player. We recommend a browser such as Firefox , Safari, or Google Chrome for best results. Internet Explorer 6 is NOT recommended for viewing any page on our website, due to compatibility issues.
Our stream typically broadcasts at around 430kb per second. In order to properly view the page, with limited "buffering" and interruption, it is best to view on a high speed (broadband) connection capable of at least 430kb per second.
Also, because Adobe Flash Video can be considerably processor intensive, it's recommended to have at least a 1GHZ processor, and at least 1GB of RAM, depending on your Operating System. Modern Operating Systems such as Windows 7, may require additional RAM and Processor Speed to view this page properly.
Our main Streaming page is not compatible with Any iOS devices, such as the iPhone, and iPod Touch. Viewing our stream on a mobile device can be done via this page. The Mobile Streaming page is designed to work with iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices, including a PC or Mac. Compatibility of either streaming page on other smart phones such as Android OS, and Blackberry models may be supported. This stream runs 200kb per second, and is compatible with iPhone 3G and above models. Viewing this mobile streaming is also possible via iPod Touch models via wi-fi connection. The reliability of this stream is entirely contingent on your cellular data signal. This page may also serve as a reasonable alternative page for for streaming, in case of problems on our main streaming page.
It's also important to note that extended viewing on your iPhone can seriously affect your phone bill! Due to the high data rate, depending on your data plan, this feed can seriously use up your monthly allotment of data, and could create a large phone bill. Check your data plan before using this feed for a large amount of time.
There are many variables that each viewing computer or smart phone can encounter. Audio not being in sync with video, video not working at all, or dropping intermittently. While the cause of this can be a number of things, it likely has to do with the way a browser "caches" the stream.
It's unlikely you'll have any issues like this, but should you have them, it is best to simply reload the page, or refresh the page. If this does not fix the problem, you may want to "quit" the browser itself, and restart the program. Clearing your browser's "cache" files may improve the page's performance as well.
Should viewing still prove to be unusable, our Sermon media, in both audio and video is available, on demand. Typically Sermon audio podcasts are available by 12pm Pacific Standard Time each Sunday. You can access the sermons on a PC or Mac on our Media Archive page.
Should you have any issues with the stream, beyond what is seen on the page here, please let us know by e-mail.
